Hybrid Cars

Hybrid cars use a rechargeable battery that help fuel the engine to move the vehicle. Hybrid engines are smaller and more efficient than traditional engines. There are many developments in hybrid technology as many manufacturers see this is as a viable technology to lower consumption of their vehicles. The technology is here today and has not changed much over the years and some manufacturers are having very positive results such as the Toyota Prius. Toyota Prius

The Toyota Prius is already in its third generation, it  is a family car and has had received very good reports and feedback from owners. Their first sales were in Japan in 1997 and few years later it was sold Worldwide. The car has received many awards and in 2008 the United States Environmental Protection Agency declared it the most efficient car of the year. The price is at around about $ 22,000 USD.
