Water conservation is the most important issue in this part of the house, here are some tips to consider.

Saving water in actions as simple as turning taps while soaping, brushing teeth or shaving. It is better to take a shower than have a bath.

Simply checking that your toilet does not have a toilet leak that drips, a leaky toilet can waste up to 200 liters of water a day. That equates to pulling the chain 50 times. If you find there is too much water flow from the taps, you can close a little cock within the tap or ask your local plumber to help you. If you wish to change your taps, try and install models that break the stream of water by mixing with air, this mechanism can achieve a reduction in flow between 30 and 60% while maintaining a pleasant feeling in the shower.

In most new models of large tubs water can be purified for reuse for areas such as in pools. There are models that reuse water in the sink to fill the tank which automatically cleans and prevents bacteria and odors by reducing their consumption by 25%. The proper flow rate for the shower is between 9 and 10L x minute, install drivers and heads with flow limiters. Tanks may be adapted with dual flush buttons and remember a too high water temperature means higher spending to mix cold water in the taps.
